1 DAY - Arrival to Bratislava. Private transfer to 3* central hotel. Accommodation in 1 twin/ double room on B&B basis for 1 night.

2 DAY - Check out.

A guided tour of the Old Town of Bratislava with our local guide. The tour includes Bratislava castle, the Old Town centre, the ruins of the Devin castle.

 

Bratislava castle was built on a castle hill and its four towers dominates the panorama of the city. The castle was mentioned in 907 but it reached  his full glory in 1766 during the reign of Austro - Hungarian Queen Maria Theresa. Soon the fortress was rebuilt into a standard royal residence and after the reconstructions it became a part of the Slovak National Museum.

 

The Old Town of Bratislava tour includes the St. Martin's Cathedral, the Primatial Palace and Michalska gate.

The Devin castle was a fortress used as a watchtower by the Slavonic count Rastislav Dovina. The place was mentioned in the manuscripts as early as the 9th century AD. In 1809 the fortress was blew up by a Napoleon troops. The area of the castle became an archaeological research point since 1965 when its ruins have been partially reconstructed.

3 DAY - Private transfer to a historical town of Levoca. On your way you will stop by and visit the largest medieval castle of Slovakia called the Spis castle.

 

The Spis castle dates back to 1113 and was built as a royal castle located on the important trade route to the Baltic sea.

Levoca was the main centre of the Spis region and it is the most stunning town of Slovak Republic. The ancient town is located at the foot of the Levocske Vrchy mountain range with its famous Gothic Church of St. Jacob - the most significant pilgrimage place in Slovakia.

4 DAY -  Private transfer to a region of the High Tatras Mountains where you will do some hiking.

 

The High Tatras Mountains offers about 35 valleys. 110 sea eyes and more then 500 peaks with a breath taking the National Park.

5 DAY - Check out. A visit to two UNESCO listed villages : Svaty Kriz and Vlkolinec.

 

The Svaty Kriz located in the centre of Liptov region is one of the largest wooden construction in central Europe.

Vlkolinec is a mountain village with a unique complex of original unchanged houses and the wooden, rustic bell tower ( 1770).

Check in 3* hotel or 3* pension. Accommodation for 2 nights in Banska Stiavnica.

6 DAY - Banska Stiavnica.

 

The Banska Stiavnica is the most important mining centre dated back to the 13th century.

7 DAY - Check out. Return to Bratislava by car ( private transfer ) or by train.

Private transfer to 3* central hotel or 3* pension in Bratislava. Accommodation in a twin/double room on B&B basis for 1 night.
